Razer Blade Stealth 2019

Aside from excellent gaming computers Razer Blade stores sell laptop that combines gaming and professional ultrabook in one machine. You probably haven’t noticed, but Razer has a new design theme going – square and the Razer Blade Stealth 2019 is no different. The Razer Blade Stealth is made out of an aluminum chassis with an anodized matte black finish and a tone-on-tone Razer logo.

Razer Blade Stealth Screen

Screen

The highest spec of this laptop weighs up to 3.04 pounds and is 14.8mm thick. Also, the 4.9mm bezel on the screen means the body of the device takes up less volume than previous versions, allowing it to maintain its 13.3-inch screen. The screen comes in two versions – an FHD Mac non-touch display and a 4K touchscreen version. Both screen options are 100% sRGB and individually calibrated. Above the screen is a 720p resolution webcam which supports Windows Hello thanks to the included necessary hardware and an IR sensor which allows users sign in with their face.

Razer Blade Stealth Keyboard

Keyboard and Trackpad

Beneath the screen are four Dolby Atmos speakers on either side of the keyboard, two more than the previous years’ model allowing it produce richer sounds without any form of distortion. The keyboard is soft to feel and unlike the Razer Blade 15, there’s no odd function key at the bottom right which might cause you to hit the wrong arrow keys out of habit.
On the Razer Blade Stealth 2019, the individual chromo functions have been removed meaning you now have zonal colorations which lights up the entire keyboard at once meaning you get better battery life on this device. Also, the function keys now light up whereas they didn’t work fully on the older models.

Beneath the keyboard is a much larger track pad which feels a lot more responsive. The track pad is a Microsoft precision track pad and it feels better than most other precision track pads in the market today.

Ports

On the left side of the device is a Type-C port, Type-A port and a headphone jack. On the right, there’s a Type-C port with Thunderbolt capabilities and a Type-A port. The laptop comes with a much smaller charger than the Razer Blade 15, and it’s a 65W charger which is important feature for persons always travelling – most airplanes have a 70W limit and most gaming laptops draw a lot more than that.

Razer Blade Stealth Bottom

Performance

Looking inside the device, it has an 8th gen core i7 processor with the base model having 8GB of RAM and 256 SSD storage with an Intel UHD graphics 620 GPU. On the other hand, the graphics model has 16GB of RAM and a 512 PCIe SSD with an Nvidia MX150 4GB GPU plus the Intel UHD 620. Although the graphics capability on this device is not like on the Razer Blade 15, by adjusting the graphics specs you can do most graphics applications on it including editing 4K videos.

Summary

In summary, considering the battery life of the Razer Blade 2019, I would recommend it over more powerful devices with poor battery performance. On basic tasks, the Razer Blade 2019 can go an entire day and at $13999 for the base model and $1899 for the 4K model, it’s a pretty decent device.
