Design
This is the biggest selling point of the Legion 7i. The whole design theme for the Legion 7i is thin, light and powerful. The laptop does not disappoint in this department.
On a first look, the Legion 7i is built with an all-aluminum chassis coupled with a sandblasted and anodized finish. The design aesthetics for the lid speaks to both gamers and creators with its almost bare lid except for the Large imprint of LEGION on the right side of the lid and a small Lenovo print on the left.
In the usual gamer fashion, the “Y” in the middle of the LEGION imprint lights up when the laptop is powered on and can also be customized with RGB lighting.
The Legion 7i makes use of the reliable one bar hinge used in the Legion Y545, which makes it feel more like a premium gaming laptop. Most of the exhaust vents are located at the back and upper sides of the laptop. Therefore, this allows the I/O of the laptop to be placed closer to the user’s hands.
