Last year Nvidia announced its new RTX graphics card series, and now we are finally starting to see gaming laptop manufacturers roll out the mobile versions of the 2060, 2070, and 2080. Additionally, Max Q variants of the 2070 and 2080 will also be available, providing a lower powered version for thinner laptops.

These new Turing series GPUs come packed with exclusive features, specifically the new ray tracing for more realistic lighting and DLSS processing that uses deep neural networks for anti-aliasing and even better image quality. Normally, if you have the previous generation of graphics card you don’t need to upgrade, but these two features alone could set a precedent for extreme gaming performance.
