Review
As you can see, in the processing department, both laptops are packing enough firepower help you complete any task that you decide to do with them. however, the LG Gram has a slightly faster processor than the Samsung Notebook 9.
The LG also possesses a 17-inch screen which also offers a resolution of 2560 X 1600 which is offers more screen real estate for work such as light video editing than the 15-inch screen provided on the Samsung Notebook 9. However, the Samsung is no slack in this department as it offers a 15-inch full HD screen which is more than enough for most people looking for a thin and light laptop. Both screens on these laptops are touch screen so you don’t have to worry about whether or not you can it in table mode; Because you can!
Both the LG Gram 17 and the Samsung Notebook 9 both cost $1,700 so there is basically no difference in price there. For this amount on the LG Gram, you get three USB 3.0 ports along with HDMI and a thunderbolt 3 port. The Samsung Notebook on the other hand offers two USB 3.0 ports, along with one USB 2.0 type A port. Obviously, the LG Gram wins in this regard has it has more USB 3.0 ports.
In terms of Storage, the LG Gram offer twice as much storage capacity as the Samsung Notebook 9 for the same price, and this might not be a big deal to you, but if it is then you might want to consider buying an external drive for your Samsung Notebook 9.
LG Gram also offers more battery cells than the Samsung Notebook 9 offer more battery life than the already long battery life of the Samsung Notebook.
In this contest, the LG Gram is the winner by a very close margin.
