The lid is matte and sitting on it is the sleek Asus logo, the hinges are also silky and shiny. The deck has a cool metallic surface where you can rest your wrists. The Asus is 0.5 inches thick and weighs in at 3.3 pounds, it is a bit heavy on the side even though it is slim.

On the left of the laptop, you will find a USB 3.0 port, which is one of the two it has and you will also find the power and volume buttons. On the right, there is the other USB 3.0 port, the HDMI output port, a headphone jack, the microSD card reader, the power adapter port and a data-only USB Type-C port that doesn’t pull power. It has a webcam sitting in the center of the top bezel and the fingerprint sensor on the top corner at the right of the trackpad. The design and built quality are better than it’s competitor’s, Acer Spin

The ZenBook has a great display. Its full-HD, 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display is vibrant and bright, and the images you get are crisp. The laptop produces about 274 nits of brightness, although it is just below the category average of 284 nits.
